BSO and our Rotary Club members distribute turkeys to the needy for Thanksgiving.

BSO and the Rotary Club of Pompano Beach gave away backpacks to elementary school children for the start of the school year.

The Rotary Club of Pompano and Broward County Sheriff's Office were delivering food for frontline workers and those in need over the summer. Thank you to all the volunteers!

Delivery of home goods to a Habitat Community family.

The Rotary Club of Pompano Beach continued to work with BSO on our Food Project through May. Each week 100 meals were families in need. Thanks to Galuppi's Restaurant, the Red Fox Diner, and Wing's n Things.

On April 29, 2020, 100 meals were delivered to caregivers who have had to quarantine at the Broward Children’s Center as well as The Woodhouse, a home for disabled adults. Spanx The Hog worked with Rotary to provide complete hearty meals.

Some highlights from our meetings throughout the Rotary year.

In March of 2019, the Rotary Club of Pompano Beach, and the InterAct clubs of Pompano Beach HS and Blanche Ely HS came together to prepare nearly 18,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger.

The 2019 Taste of Lighthouse Point event featured 15 different restaurants who brought their creative specialties for the attendees to sample. Our auctions raised money for Rotary's charities. Thanks to all of our sponsors and supporters!

On December 8, 2018, our fellow club members danced the night away at the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club for our annual Holiday party!

On October 13, 2018 Rotary sponsored a Fall Harvest Festival with hay rides, a petting zoo, face painting, games, music and fun for all ages.

What a fun night we had as we celebrated a year well done by Past President Gene Pridemore. The gavel was passed to Sean Hasle for the 2018 - 2019 Rotary year. Thank you Gene for your leadership last year and best wishes to Sean "Prez Pez" Hasle for this upcoming year.

Gene Pridemore hosted our the Rotary Club of Pompano Beach's Golf Tournament on April 20, 2018. Thanks to all the participants who came out and helped fundraise for Rotary!

One of the Rotary Club of Pompano Beach's main fundraisers for 2018, the Taste of Lighthouse Point had the community come together to celebrate local restaurants and to enjoy excellent wines.

The Rotary Club distributed every penny made from their fundraisers and on June 30 donated $24,000 to charities in our own community. “The last Friday in June has really become one of my favorite days of the year,” said club Treasurer, Randall Bishop. “Being able to help so many different people makes a whole year of hard work worth all the effort.” This year the Rotary Club of Pompano Beach made donations to 21 different local groups: 4 Kids, A Safe Haven for Newborns, American Dream Broward Co

Our Rotary Club raised the funds to build a new playground for the children at Broward Outreach Center. This donation will provide years of enjoyment to children going through hardship.

In May 2017, our club collected 100 pairs of shoes for an organization called Shoes4Haiti. Junior DuChen personally takes shoes to Haiti and delivers them. Junior was nice enough to send us some photos. Look at those smiles!

Rotarians came together to build storage closets at Woodhouse - an assisted living facility which cares for disabled adults.

Our club came together to support our Cleft Palate Project that supports the International Children’s Surgical Foundation. A good time was had by all at the Sample-McDougald House.
