101 Club

Since 1959 the 101 Club has been hosting members and groups of AA and other 12-step programs. Today they host 26 meetings per week and remain a safe haven for individuals who credit the clubhouse and fellowship for saving their lives.

 

 

4Kids

4KIDS brings hope to babies, kids, teens, and young adults by providing safe and secure environments for healing, equipped parents and caregivers who are trained to love kids from hard places, essential resources to meet their physical needs, nurturing counsel to help them thrive, and a renewed sense of value in their hearts.

 

 

A Safe Haven for Newborns

A Safe Haven for Newborns is a 24/7 multilingual statewide referral helpline to assist pregnant girls/women in crisis to provide quick, confidential one-on-one assistance.

 

 

Brown's Community Development Center

Dedicated to providing educational and social services for youth and their families, their mission is to tackle and help become a change agent to an immediate problem facing the less fortunate or under-served.

 

   

Canine Companions

Provide service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities and facility dogs to professionals working in healthcare, criminal justice and educational settings. Since being founded in 1975, dogs and all follow-up services are provided at no cost to their clients.  

 

 

Good Karma Pet Rescue

Good Karma Pet Adoption Center is a no-kill animal shelter located in Pompano Beach. The GKPAC opened in 2021 to give more help to the large dogs and adult cats of our community who have a harder time finding both temporary foster parents and adopters.

 

 

 Honor Flight

Honor Flight transports America’s Veterans to Washington, DC to visit those memorials dedicated to honor the service and sacrifices of themselves and their friends.

 

 

In Jacob's Shoes

The Jacob S. Zweig Foundation, known as In Jacob’s Shoes, provides new and gently used shoes, socks, backpacks, school supplies and athletic gear to local children and families in need living in South Florida.

 

 

My Safe Harbor

Their mission is to feed hungry children in our local community. They have created a food bank at Seagull Alternative High School. Additionally, they distribute food and supplies to local families in need.

 

 

Not My Daughter

Founded by a group of local philanthropic women who decided to involve their children in a cause. Volunteers impact the community by creating awareness while raising funds for breast cancer research and ancillary services.

 

 

Salvation Army

Every holiday season our club is out ringing the bell to support The Salvation Army. The money dropped in a red kettle goes right back into our local community.

 

 

Sample-McDougald House

The Sample-McDougald House is a 4,700 square feet historic home in Pompano Beach, Florida, built in 1916. It is currently located at 450 Northeast 10th Street, but was originally built on Dixie Highway and moved to its present location by the Sample-McDougald House Preservation Society in 2001.

 

   

ShelterBox

ShelterBox is an international, nonprofit organization that responds immediately, by providing humanitarian relief in the form of supplies that bring hope, independence and a sense of normalcy to the most vulnerable people.

 

   

Sheriff's Foundation of Broward County

Funding the following events:

Back to School Event at Apollo Park: Helping to start kids off right as they go back to school, BSO provides backpacks with essential school supplies to kids in August.
Christmas Extravaganza: The E. Pat Larkins Community Center is transformed into a Christmas wonderland that welcomes hundreds of children to a wonderful evening of holiday fun.

 

   

Shipwreck Park

Dedicated to the creation of an underwater park system establishing artificial reefs, utilizing public art to raise awareness of the need to preserve and conserve our natural coral reef system.

   

Woodhouse

Woodhouse is a co-ed residential facility for adults with intellectual disabilities coupled with extreme medical or behavioral challenges. Residents receive 24-hour nursing care, personal care, and instruction as an alternative to institutional living.
